Check your coordinate systems. Make sure the correct drawing coordinate
system has been assigned. Confirm that the correct coordinate system has
been specified for the dgn. If the dgn coordinate system is the same as the
drawing it doesn't have to be specified at all. There was an issue in Map
once upon a time where dgn's would not import unless you first selected the
Driver Options button. You didn't have to change anything - just pick the
button.
The fatal error business may be unrelated. Have you audited the target
drawing? Are you up to date on service packs and hot fixes? Have you tried
a registry repair through Add/Remove Programs? Repair Installation?
Reinstall? Any chance the dgn is corrupted? Does it open correctly in "that
other platform"?
Do you know the difference between a pond and a lake? The only man in
American history to be governor of two states? That minivans and SUVs are
simply tall station wagons? Ok...I was just having a little fun with that
last part. Happy Tuesday.

hey all,
Trying to import a v8 dgn thru map.
I was able to import dgn's with no issues.
As of today, I get "0 imported in 0 sec", then fatal error upon closing that
session.
Even attempting a dgn file that I sussessfully imported on Thursday (
03/01/07) of this past week is a no go.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
