Import layer state failure

Hi,

I was trying to import a layer state from another drawing, but failled. The error message says that the layer state could not be imported.

What could caused the problem? Thanks for any suggestions!

Walk up though the exact process you used to export then import, and the exact version if C3D you used for both.

I did not export the layer state and save it in a LAS file. I am not sure if that is the reason causing the failure.

Do you mean if I have a layer state LAS file saved from a Civil 3D 2013 drawing file, it cannot be imported to a 2011 drawing?

Most likely your problem, but you didn't post the LAS file here.
