Import COGO points from profile

Hi,
1. Is it possible to import the FG points from the profile without having to create a corridor?
In Civil Design I could import these from a simple finished profile.
2.Try this test.
Draw a closed poyline
Create grading objects and create surfaces automatically from the group.
If the polyline is inside the grading object when you detach the surface from the grading group it will be used as a Hide boundary in the surface.
Is it this how it should work?

Also when I try to grade to a surface from the grading group it doesn't work if you don't detach first the surface
