someone asked me this questions.
so some company modeled a building with 4 level parkings with some retaining wall in revit. they need to look at the underground utilities in civil 3d. they need to create surface for one of the parking levels. the exported dwg file are all on one layer and all 3d lines not workable. civil can only take one surface without overlapping points.
is there an easy way to interface or obtain data from revit to civil 3d?
i am thinking if the revit can create report in xyz of all the points on parking levels then that's the way to go. never used revit so i am stuck. i would imagine it should be easy since it's all autodesk software. less pain then dealing with autocad+civil 3d vs ustn+inroads. : )
