How to open vehicle tracking add on?

I downloaded the 2015 trial version of Autodesk Vehicle Tracking. After a successful install, I expected to see it on my ribbon in Civil 3D 2014. However, it isn't there and there is no evidence of the install inside Civil 3D. How do I load the program? I have a stand alone license of Civil 3D 2014 and read in the forums that the trial version of Vehicle Tracking is also stand alone. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that the licensing combination (Civil 3D standalone and AVT trial is supported) but the issue is that you have 2014 version of AutoCAD and trial version of AVT 2015. According to readme you need to have 2014 version of AutoCAD or 2014 version of trial AVT.

If you happen to have Civil 3D 2015 and cannot see your ribbon with AVT tools try this:

  1. Enter CUILOAD in the command line and browse to the following location:
  2. C:\Users\<users>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Vehicle Tracking\Menus
  3. Select atrc200.cuix and click Open
  4. Click Load and Close

Most likely you would have to look for Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2014 trial version.  See this: http://www.autodesk.com/products/vehicle-tracking/free-trial

I hope this helps.

My folder that contains CUI file (C:\Users\<users>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Vehicle Tracking\Menus) is empty, any thoughts?
