How to open .msr files

Good day,

I would like to know if there is a way to open a .msr file in AutoCAD.

Is there is a way to convert the .msr file data to .dxf or .dwg?

Thank you in advance

Stephanie

What's an msr file? Which program writes that? Can you post one?

You will have to ask the party that gave you the file to export to SHP or DXF dirrectly from MineSight. AFAIK AutoCAD doesn't import a MSR shape.

Thank you for your reply.

I changed the file extension from .msr to .doc then saved as plain text.

Changed the .txt to .dxf.

Opend the .dxf then saved as ACAD drawing.

It was Survey data from another program. Lines with Z values.

Thank You

Are you kiddin' us, Madame?

You won't "change" a plain TXT survey file into DXF, unless you're an Houdini's granddaughter...
