you set it in the parcel tool bar along witht the min frontage. then choose the method.
MB,
Joe is right. The "Minimum" is actually "Use this size, subject to the other conditions".

Thanks Dave, I have been trying to create a parcel using the below procedure and with the slide line creation tool along a lake frontage.
I am trying to subdivide a large parcel along a lakefront line. I need to hold the Lakefront distance to EXACTLY 65 feet AND the square footage to EXACTLY 132,522 sq ft. I am flex on the depth of the resultant lot. So I enter both data in the appropriate spots, using 90 as my angle
Autocad keeps sending the parcel division dividing line back to the far end of the lot, and no matter what i select to hold, (use shortest frontage or use smallest area,) it either increases my frontage or my area.
How do I hold both?
Thanks, Tom - Student Project
I may be missing something. But couldn't you create a Rectangle 65' X 2038.8' and turn it into a Parcel?

Thanks. I am open to suggestions. I was trying to use the autocad auto-divide tool, where I select the larger 140 acre parcel, and enter in the constraints, and then move to the next parcel down the line. I have 7 parcels to create, each with a fixed frontage and area. side lot lines are flex. each time autocad asks for key dims. If i have to manually do this , then i guess i will. Hoping that the parcel create tool can do it.
Maybe someone will have the answer. I haven't done subdivision work in years. I abandoned trying to use parcels for Acquisition maps long ago.

post your drawing.
Are you trying to get a back lot line from the min max parameters? it does not do that, to my knowledge
Thanks all, i am "brute forcing" it with rectangular poly lines, and tweaking to get acreage. thanks all for the assist!
