How do you check your progress?

id like to check my time i put into this drwaing and when i started can anyone tell me how i can do that?

Hi,

 

there is no AutoCAD-internal correct value for "how much time you have worked" as AutoCAD does not watch the processor time (the time the processor was used from AutoCAD). The time that the drawing was opened might be taken from the variable TDUSRTIME (>>>details<<<).

But be careful, if you open the drawing and go for a coffee-break the timer does not drink the coffee, it continues counting. 😉

I don't know of any way to determine how much time you've spent already but if that is something you'll need to know again in the future there are some Windows utilities that will log the amount of time you spend working on projects and files. One such program is Activity Timer. A search on terms such as project time tracking will yield similar apps.

Not sure if this link will help but at least you can get the total amount of time the drawing has been open.

Entering TIME at the command line will provide the following info.
