How do I add Gabbion Wall to my assembly in Civil 3D?

I have been trying to add a gabbion wall to my assembly. But there is no standard subassembly for it. In the other  road design software that I use, there is option to enter the count of the gabbion steps and  wala!..the gabbion wall is added to the assembly with pre-defined parameters which ofcourse can be edited as per requirement. I am really surprised that Civil 3D doesnot have it. Is there a way around? Thankyou..

You can create your own using Subassembly Composer.

I haven't had my hands deep on SAC yet, atleast not  to the point where I can enter no. of counts(eg.if n=9, 9 m gabbion wall is added to the assembly). Wouldn't doing so require a loop and to my knowledge, SAC doesn't have this feature added to it so far. So, how can it be done?

It does have copy and paste and you can copy how ever many steps you think you might require and have an if then statement for each n.

Create a subassembly from polyline, Gabions only have set width & heights so just add each one to the subassembly accordingly and get the job done however I advise you to learn SAC for the next time as it can be really helpful.
