how can i force dims to show feet & inches?

I'd like to show feet/inches with arch units even when i have a whole number measurement. right now the dim for 16' shows as 16' only. i want it to show as 16'-0"

how can i do this?

thanks

You can disable the zero inches suppression setting for the dimension style that you are using (see image1), then update the dimension.   Or you could override that setting for a particular dimension (see image2).

Change or create new Dim Style to the following; on Primary Units tab change Unit format to Architectural (or Engineering if you want the inches in decimal format not fractional), Scale factor to twelve (unless you are also changing your units) and make sure that under Zero suppression '0 inches' is unchecked.
