how are you labeling walls from a surface

we are in a situation where we want a dynamic wall label. how can i make that happen if technically the top of wall and bottom of wall are at two different x and y points. ideally i would like have one label and list it this way by referencing surface elevations:

RETAINING WALL
TOW=XXXX.XX
BOW=XXXX.XX
N=NORTHING
E=EASTING

Another option, provided you don't need to pull it off into a dragged state, is to use a slope label. You can label the starting and ending elevations In a slope label.

Hmm, I need a draggable label. We do apartment complexes and things get tight. The kast place I was at we did an alignment along the bottom face of the wall with an offset alignment for the top. But at my current company we just label the angle points and ends. With 10+ walls on a site it could get kind of crazy the other way. Any ideas from folks smarter than I?
