Hidden objects

Has anyone dealt with imaginary squares that don't show up until printing?  I have some that show up everytime I print the sheets out.  They are not visible until printing to plotter or making a .pdf.  See attached example with red callout boxes.  Thank you for any help anyone can provide.

Your image is good enough that if you zoom in you can see that it's the Navbar.

thank you for the help!  the NAVBARDISPLAY command worked.
