Help with creating topo from gis data sent in .mdb (microsoft access format)

We had a county send us all of their topo from gis department. All we got was a .mdb file. I have burned up help and google trying to find out how to get this converted/translated into civil 3d 2008. Could someone please explain this to me, it would be appreciated. I went to database/attach and that appeared to work but have no idea as to where to go from that point. Attached is a screenshot of the access file

Thanks

Hi j_septh,

If the MDB file contains points you may create a blank surface and add points from MDB. See image. Other options in case there are other types of objects in it you may consider using Map Task Pane (MAPWSPACE command). It all depends what information are in the MDB file. MDB.pngCan you specify that and I'm sure some people out there may be able to help.

Your screen shot looks like it is an E$RI geodatabase file. As  Almas reply you "might' be able to use the import points form Civil3D to get a surface if you find the correct point table in the list and edit it some. Otherwise you can try the GDAL/ORG providers from the Open Source geospatial site (OSGEO.org) and use the Map Data connect to bring in the data then convert to SDF or shp format for the surface in Civil3D.

For much more on this topic search the Map 3d group for OSGEO.
