Help with creating an assembly

Hi all,

New guy trying to understand assemblies and sub assemblies etc.

Can anyone help me learn how to create something like I show in the attached picture please?

Also it may be posted somewhere already, point me in the right direction. I try to do a drive of my corridor but the existing surface gets in the way of my proposed corridor. I would like to be able to see how it all ties in when I do the drive.

Not ususally but I can see it being usefull on hilly or mountainous areas that get snow/ice which we have done before with the slope towards the cut side. Another words they can slope in towards the hillside if I remember correctly.

These drives are used for occasional access to cell tower sites.
