Grading Volumes Incorrect

When I create a grading group with an automatic surface creation and perform a volume calculation it is wrong. Reason being if I'm grading a berm and I rotate into 3D the triangles are not taking into account the fact that there is a crest there. Same thing with the bottom of a ditch it dosen't take into account there is a bottom. If I trace the berm or ditch using 3D lines and create a surface everything is ok triangles look fine. Also there is a sizable volume discrepancy with Auto-surface and 3D lines.

Am I doing something wrong here? I've also fooled around with the tesselation spacing with no luck. Thanks in advance

Did you create an infill? This is necessary to create the top of the berm of
bottom of the ditch when using grading objects.

Homer

Thank you very much the infill worked perfectly.

One more question, if my berm is a joined line (closed square) and I go to make an ifill then the volume is good infill works. If I have 2 separate lines as my berm crest and I project each line to either side then the infill will not work.

How do I create the infill if there are 2 separate lines can this be done?

Thanks in advance.

To use the infill, you will need to create a closed figure.
