there a way to have multiple sites in a single grading group? I am trying to
add a new site to the surface I have already created but when I try to create
grading with the new site it asks if I want to create a new grading group. I
would like to keep both sites in the same group/surface so that it is easer
for calculating volumes.

what exactly is a grading group? I thought that it was basically a surface? I
want to be able to separate different areas of a surface. I would like it if I
could grade one area of a surface and not have the TIN lines interact with
other areas of a surface. Example: Is there a way to grade a detention pond on
a surface and also grade a parking lot on the same surface with out the TIN
line being linked together?
