Grading Cut and Fill Styles - How to change Batter Ticks Appearance

Hi,

I have Civil 3D 2014.

Currently my CUt and Fill grading styles show long and short batter ticks.

My question is...The long batter ticks are shown every 2m AND every Vertex and Elevation point on my Featurelines.

Is there a way to make the style not show long batter ticks at every Vertex and Elevation point???

i have tried to reduce the size of my file to upload but i cannot.

your upload limit is 1.5mb which my small area is 4mb (when everything is purged out and deleted)

I have attached a PDF of what i want to see and another for what i have from civil 3d.

you will notice in the civil 3d version that the long batter ticks are not regular and appear at every vertex/end point/z value change of the featureline it is related to.

please let me know how to fix this.
