GIS Contour Elevatios

Argh!!!

I have some shp files of gis contours.

I've tried the Mapimport with objectdata

Create new dwg, attach, query with alter data.

The contours still come in at 0 no matter what I do.

The object data shows the elevation but I can't get them to update.

Suggestions?

I suspect the problem is in your workflow, not the data. Likely you are not configuring the alter properties settings properly. You might find it easier to use the Surface from GIS tool anyway as it eliminates a few steps. Look in the help file for that topic.

That was way easier!!!

I've done the other way before and just couldn't get it to function yesterday.

Sometimes the Help files are hard to find.
