getting profiles into Plan and Profile sheets

So I am pretty new to Civil 3D and had to jump into the middle of a project. The Viewframes were already created but when I go to the plan and profile sheets for the viewframes the profile is not showing and I'm not sure how to choose the correct profile and display it in the corresponding plan and profile sheet.

In the Plan and Profile sheets go to Model Space of viewport>select grid>rt. click>profile view properties>profiles Tab>

Are there any profiles listed and is "Draw" column checked?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'select grid'. I am in the plan and profile
sheet for one of the view frames and it shows the correct plan area on top
but just blank on the bottom half where the profile should be.

Sounds like starting over from scratch and recreating the viewframes would be a good idea.

I started over and am coming up with the same problem. Plan is correct, but no profile.

Did you use the Wizard to create profile views or choose option to get settings from another profile view?

Settings from another profile view. Should I use the Wizard instead?

We use the Wizard, then the profile view is generated within MS of the viewport (like per sheet) When prompted for profile origin just make sure to pick a blank point in space so references wont appear in your profile area.

Ok It worked. Just kind of annoying because there are a few profiles in this
project that only require a few things shown so having to create a new
profile for each viewframe is kind of a drag but manageable. Thanks!
