Getting an Odd Corridor Contour Shifting

I was curious if anyone has run into a corridor surface shift as shown in the  screen capture.

I was adjusting my alignment and this happened. Ran a drawing audit and everything is fine. Civ3D 64 SP1 on vista 64 bit

any suggestions?

Is your UCS set to World?

Looks like you moved your surface, too. Go to the Surface Properties, Definitions. Check if you have a TransformBy shown in the Operation type, if so, delete it.

UCS is world, did not move surface. Just moved last segment of alignment a few meters South, re-built corridor and the surface shifted. Tried moving it back and it still stayed in it's shifted state. Closed without saving and trying again 😞

I actually deleted the surface a couple of times and rebuilt corridor surface and the shift remained. I haven't seen this before.

Could I have a look at the dwg file? I love puzzles....

Unfortunately I can't provide the client's drawing.
