Geographic Location in Point Clouds

I am working with point clouds of topography acquired through photogrammetry.  I am indexing my point cloud with Recap Pro and saving as a .rcp file (including the advanced preference for a specified coordinate system).  When I attach the point cloud in Civil 3d 2015, I see a checkbox to include geographic information.  However, it is greyed out.  My original data included ground control and was generated with georeferences.  I need to bring in the data at scale and georeferenced so I can generate contours and calculate volumes.  Any ideas?

I don't do too much of this and I only have Recap (not Pro). One thought is; Have you installed the Autodesk® Point Cloud Surface Extraction 2015 extension from the Subscription site? I know that this is supposed to assist in the process of using Point Clouds for Surfaces.
