GENERIC LINK ATTACH?

Working with generic links and trying to insert or attach a link to the LEFT side of the assembly. I'm using linkwidthandslope.
when i try to attach, it appear crossing back over the previous sub-assebly. Then i have to put in negative vaules to make it show correctly. It show in the properties a true of false vaule for left side, but toggling this seems to have no effect. Anyone know how to attach to the LEFT side?

Thanks

I think you've found the solution. Link objects don't have a side designation like most subassemblies. You use negative values to get them to go left and positive to go right.

Only some of the generic links need negative / positive values. The others
have Left / Right properties. he LinWidthandSlope has a Left / Right
property. I'm not sure why the OP is having this problem, I'm not here.
Sounds like maybe a corrupt VBA.
