Generate the Surface legend

Hi All

I have generated a TIN surface and change the style to "Slope". I want to create a legend for the surface, but the legend has no content, only the header. Do you know why?

Cheers,

Eric

Whilst it looks like you have set the surface style to show slopes you also need to run the Slope analysis to populate the table

Finally it works! The legend will not be generated if just change the surface style. It needs to create it in analysis tab! 🙂

Can I change the precentage to degree for the slope analysis?

Not sure if degrees is one of the options for slopes but other values can be displayed.

Select the Table, Right Click and Edit Table Style.

Click the <[Surface Rang Minimum Slope......>]field and when the dialog is visible select the text shown in BLUE.

Next Click the format drop down and choose the format required and precision then click the right pointing arrow to commit the changes and hit OK and OK right out.

The new slope style should be displyed e.g. in the screnshot table the Min slope is "rise over run"  and the Max slope is "decimal"
