Long time forum helper/poster, Richard 'Sinc' Sincovec was admitted to the hospital in pretty bad shape last night with an illness affecting his liver and kidneys. Please, whatever prayers, thoughts, vibes, you can send his way, his family and myself would appreciate them.
When I know more, I will post more.

Great to hear.
All the best for your recovery Sinc.
You're a legend! It wouldn't be the same here without you.
Well now I feel terrible Jeff for the emails between us about the sincpac. I had no idea. Thanks to you for taking the time to help me even with what Richard is going through. Your plate is full.
Speedy recovery Richard and God Bless.
Dec. 5 update (thanks John for reminding me to do this) - Sinc's father reported last night that they have changed medications which seem to really be helping. Still has a long recovery, but everything is still encouraging.
I sent out the card I had signed by those who stopped by the Quux booth at AU on Monday. I made sure to mention this thread and the others at the Swamp and Surveyor Connect. He sure has a lot of friends/fans out there!
Just seen the news: Jeff thank you for keeping everyone abreast of how Sync is.
Sync, get well soon bud.
Mike.
Jeff,

I just got off the phone with Sinc's sister, Rinah. Today is not a good day, I guess he's been having some good and others not so good. Richard's liver has stopped responding to treatment now, and the enzymes are saying he's at the 19% survival level. The docs have decided to move him to a chronic care facility for 90 days since there is nothing more they can do except continue administering the medicines and hope they begin to work better. He is not a candidate for a transplant. I'm stunned and can't add any more.
Sounds like he needs all the help from above that he can get.
Come on, Sinc! We are all praying for your speedy return to good health!
As always, I will post more as I learn more.
Dear Sinc.

My thoughts are on you and your loved ones Richard.
Oh gosh. Everytime I see an update from you (Jeff) pop into my inbox from this thread, I'm crossing my fingers it's good news. This definitely wasn't the news I was expecting.
Thank you so much for keeping us up to date on Sinc. I'm sure he appreciates having a friend like you and we greatly appreciate having a caring user who is keeping us so well informed on one of our favorites. Please tell him I send him and his family my best and that he NEEDS to get well. We mean it!
If there is anything as a community we can do to help, just name it. We'll figure it out!
Thanks Jillian.
