Flat bottom ditch assembly

Hi,
What is the best way to create a flat bottom ditch corridor?
I have created an alignment from the centre of the bottom of the ditch and then created an assembly with two basic lanes left and right and apply a daylight general feature.
Is this the best way of doing it?

Thanks.

Kind regards

Florin

Another good one to use as long as your ditch is required only in cut is the "BasicSideSlopeCutDitch" Subassembly however it does not offer anywhere near the same ammount of control as daylight general. To be used for simple conditions. Florin, If your intent is only to create ditch lining and no subsurfaces - and if this ditch design is not tied to any other centerline then perhaps you could use some of the "generic subassemblies" such as LinkWidthAndSlope and/or LinkSlopToSurface etc... to accomplish this. Bottom of ditch as centerline as you explained is good too. Of course there are many other ways to do it as other colleagues on this forum can share.
