Find out station & offset without placing a label?

There are MANY times that I need to find out the station and offset of a particular location but I don't want to show a label there.  The only way I've found to do this is to place a station/offset label and then delete it.

Does anyone know of command that will allow me to use an osnap to find out the station & offset (such as wanting to know the station & offset of the end point of a line, location of a cogo point or center of a circle)?

TIA!

OMG!  Now that you say that, I remember the instructor quickly skimming over that.  But I had forgotten all about it.  I've always placed an SO label and then deleted it afterward.

THANKS!
