File Size Increases After Save

so i am using civil 3d 2012 with all updates installed (win7 x64 with all updates)

i open a file that another user has created and the file size is 2.2 mb

alll i do is a save after opening it and the file size jumps to 51.8 mb

Is this still the case after you have exited AutoCAD or only after saving, but AutoCAD is still open?

Is ISAVEPERCENT set to something other than 0?

this is even after exiting autocad and closing the file

i had another coworker open the smaller sized file and resave it and it does increase to 16.5 mb but not the 51 mb like mine

Are the files a different version before saving?

What if you set Proxygraphics to 0?

so setting the  Proxygraphics to 0 seems to fix the issue

it is back to the 2 mb size now thatnks that is awesome

I am facing the same issue. Both values are set to 0 but it didn't work.
