FG On Section View

After another 8 hours of going around in circles, can someone tell me how to
make the centerline finish grade plot with the section view? I can create
the section view, and then go in and edit it to change it from EG to FG, but
I can not figure out how to tell it to print FG in the first place. I am
totally lost in the maze of styles. My wife would say, why not plot the
plans, take a blankety blank pencil and write the finish grade on each
section. For the 120 sections on the job, I could probably do that in a few
hours; but then I would have to get my blueprint machine out of
retirement...

Brian.

i think there is no way to do this automatically in 06 which stinks. i believe a work around (which may or may not be faster than writing in the fg) is to go to each of your 120 sections and define 'section 2' under 'section view properties' as the fg.

Thanks

I was afraid of that; figured I would ask before I did that, which is now
what I will do.

Brian:

I am doing apparently what you are wanting. Unfortunately it has been over
a month since I did it. It involves using Code Label Styles that are under
the Multipurpose Styles. If you are really in need, send me an email and I
will try to help.

Hi Bill. I tried getting the CL elev on the x-sec's weeks ago using the Multipurpose Styles - Code Label Styles but had no luck; could you do me a favour and enlighten me too?
