feature line problems elevation editor

I have created a feature line from a polyline and the line segments are 1/12 the size they should be. Under the units command I have Decimal and unitless selected, but the feautre line creator has its own set of rules. I'm pretty sure the fix is somewhere in the Settings Tab of the Prospector, since I found the solution there once, but now I can't for the life of me find it again.

On the Drawing Settings, Units & Zone tab, make sure the Units are set to either Feet or Meters. If the drawing was not started with a C3D template, this may be set to Architectural/Inches (not sure exactly waht this erroneous setting is, as I've never actually encountered it).
