Feature Line Elevations

C3D 2008

Creating a FL starting with an Arc and using the Secondpnt option does not honor the starting elevation.

Create a FL
Pick a point on screen
Choose an elevation (35.0)
Select the Arc option
Specify a start direction (not sure why the user could not specify Secondpnt at this point in the command)
Select the Secondpnt option
Pick two points (Distance 32.61', Grade 0.00, Slope Horizontal, Elevation 35.00')
Specify Grade (-0.75)
Enter to terminate the command
Enter the Elevation Editor
Station 0+00 elevation = 0.0
Change the Elevation to 35.0 and the Grade Ahead is calculated as -0.75

Thanks,

Charles

Sure enough, this works (or doesn't work) as you say. The first point goes to 0 and the second point uses the elevation you specify for the first point.
