fatal error unhandled access violation reading 0x0000 exception at 2a988435h

Not sure if anyone has experienced this error when closing .dwg file in C3D 2010

Is there a solution to this problem without a doing a reinstall?

Error occurs when closing through the menu pulldown - File ---> Close or by typing the command Close.

This occurs also whether you are using Metric or Imperial.

Here is some pc info. if this helps any.

Workstation - Dell Precision T5400

- Intel Pentium III Xeon processor

- 4GB Ram

- OS - Windows XP Professional 2000 version 5.1.2600

Lastly, I have not installed any recent service packs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi dmagnus-

First thing I would try is to have another user log onto your machine to see if they can reproduce. If they cannot reproduce then you will just need to reset your user settings: http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS1108208
