expressions and elevations

I am trying to create an expression for a spot
elevation

I basically want and elevation of 1415 to show up
as 15 and anything below 1400 (ie 1399) to show up as 99

so I guess I want something like  If
(surface)>= 1400 then subtract 1400 and if <=1399.99 then subtract
1300.

does that make sense?

Something like should work too.

{Surface Elevation}-(TRUNC(({Surface Elevation}/100)*100)

It's not site specific as it'll chop any elevation down to two digits. This method can also be used to cut other number down to size as well.

indeed, cool. i was thinking as i wrote it that it would only work for that
range of elevations, but i was too lazy to think any harder 🙂
