exporting surface profiles - looking to get 3D .rxl files

Whether I export an rxl through the Trimble Link or an xml file, then use TBC to create the rxl file; my alignment is not exporting 3D (with a profile).

What I am wondering is if anybody knows a way to export a surface profile (or even a profile by file) so that the alignment is 3D. I know that it works fine providing it is not a surface profile format.

Currently if I create a surface profile, or create a profile from an imported text file, I have to export the alignment and profile into a xml file. I then take that file and manually change the station & elevation format to fit the <PVI>0.000 20.65</PVI> format.

If anybody knows of a way to change the format or convert a surface profile into just PVIs, I would be glade to hear.
