Export to PDF

I have been trying to export a drawing to PDF without any luck. I use the Output tab on the ribbon and then use export., as soon as I do this I get an error..ERROR: There were no plottable sheets in the current operation.

I don't remember getting that error using C3D 2011

I am using C3D 2012 64 bit on Windows 7

Try plotting it to PDF.  It's much more reliable.

Plot > change your plotter name to "DWG to PDF.pc3" > proceed with the rest of the plot settings as usual.

Once you click on OK it will ask you where you want to save the file.

Hope this helps,

Jason

That worked, any idea why the other method would not? I know I have used it in the past, I think even in C3D 2012.

Thanks for the tip.

Not sure why that other one doesn't work (or doesn't work all the time).  I've just bypassed it and use the plotting method, especially because you have more control of the area you want to actually plot.

Glad to hear it worked for you!

Good day,
