C3D 2015
Command: AECEXPORTTOAUTOCADDXF
Result:
Every single time, at least with every drawing that I need to saveas DXF.
This is not the same problem that I encountered before where the presence of GEODATA was preventing the resulting DXF from being read. This problem is simply preventing the DXF from being created at all. I've shut down, used Recover on the DWG, ran Audit, all clean. Still get the same error and no DXF file.
Finally, I manually ran AECOBJEXPLODE a couple of times then re-ran the AECEXPORTTOAUTOCADDXF and it finally worked.
(FWIW, AECOBJEXPLODE gave me a bunch of errors like this:
+ Hit enter to cancel or [Retry]: R
+ ARX_ERROR: eLockChangeInProgress
)
I've experienced this in C3D from 2010 until current 2015. If anyone has any insight, please let me know. What should be a 15 second exercise turns into a 1/2 hour drama session just to output a valid DXF file that an external partner will be able to read.
