Every Survey Database isLlocking

All,

I have searched the discussion groups to see if anyone else has had this problem, but I haven't found anything.  Here is whats happening, every time I create a new survey database, I can edit it fine, Import survey data, etc..  As soon as I set another survey database active, it states "This item cannot be edited".  When I activate the one I just created, it then also states the same.  So, every time I create a new survey database, it ends up locking and I cannot edit it at all.  Yes, I have checked all permission spots, and yes, I have restarted my machine.  Any advice is greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance.

Hello Seth,

Can you change Working Folder and see if you get the same error? it seems like install may gone bad.

Hi Almas,

First, thanks for responding.  I actually figured it out; I meant to post what it was here.  I was double-clicking the survey databases, not realizing that that opened it up read-only by default.  I now realize you have to right-click Open for Edit (Duh :-).

Thanks again.
