Error: The ArcSDE runtime was not found (module sde91.dll)

I got this error opening a .dwg in C3D 2012. Any help would be appreciated as to steps to resolve.

Is it happening with one specific drawing or all drawings?

I haven't done a lot of FDO connections so cannot properly answer that question. So far, only the one drawing but it doesn't mean it isn't global.

By chance have you read this article on setting up the ArcSDE connection: http://gisexchange.typepad.com/blog/2010/11/adding-the-arcsde-provider-to-the-data-connect-dialog-in...

This may help with the issues you are having.

Not quite the right one but it lead me to http://gisexchange.typepad.com/blog/2010/11/top-5-list-for-troubleshooting-sde-connections.html

Thanks!
