ERROR "base.dcl"

This morning when I fired up Civil3D 2008, I got this message:
"base.dcl" Can't find file.
Then when I click OK I get "Error loading dialog control file."
Then when I click OK, I get "Semantic error(s) in DCL file acadmap.dcl. see file acad.dce for details." and so on.....

I'm running Civil38 2008 on a pentium4 core2duo with 2 gigs of ram and on Windows XP SP2.

Any advice for me?

The folder is probably not pathed in the options. Just add it.

That's a good response but it is already done. I actually found out that the support directory where all these files are stored on my local drive has changed somehow. I copied the "enu/support" folder from another computer in the office to my local drive and it worked.

Don't know how my files got deleted. Not only the civil3d files were deleted but also all the companion files were deleted.
