Error ade.dcl

Help...

I'm getting an error each time I start the program:

Error in dialog file

"C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009\support\ade.dcl", line 3696:

invalid attribute.

Symbol:  "label".

Using Civil 3D 2009

64bit

Thanks,

Lynn

I've had this happen in the past. Something changes the file (I never figured out if it was my AV, chkdsk, defrag, or what) and it is always just 1 misplaced word in the file. I've solved it a few different ways: by finding that file on the install disk and copying the entire file... by going to the bad line and figuring out what was supposed to be there (not recommended:-)...or by doing a Repair on the install.

Thanks Jeff, that seemed to work.  Weird thing was when I went to look at the file the date was exactly the same as the "old" file (a 2008 date).  Must have gotten corrupt but the date didn't change.?...

Yep, that's what I have noticed as well.
