Elevation editor view

My boss would like the elevation editor to show rise and run slope instead of percent grade. Is it possible to modify the view to show this.

Yes.  Change your Line Label Style format from percent to either Run:Rise or Rise:Run format.

Bill,

I think Evan means the Grade Ahead and Grade Back Columns in the Grading Editor Panorama. (Evan, correct me if I'm wrong.) I tried changing Slope and Grade/Slope in Ambient Settings in Drawing Settings and same in Edit Feature Settings-General. No luck.

Yes you are correct those are the items I wish to change. I know you can enter rise:run into those column fields but they immediately turn to percent.

My boss wishes to have them display as Rise:Run if possible.

I changed many settings as bill described previously with no luck.

Any ideas.

Let's be fair about this.  Why would anyone using that chart (table) want to enter 1:4 when all they need to do is enter .25, as an example.  Let's keep this simple.

Your boss, perhaps, needs some training.

Bill,
Bosses are awfully hard to train.

I must be really lucky.  When I look in the mirror, I see all my employees.

I tried changing all kind of setting also in order to make it show rise:run. Did not worked out yet so I wonder if anyone knows if it's possible?
