Edit Surface OSNAP

When I click Edit Surface and then Add Line, my OSNAP automatically defaults to Endpoint regardless of my current OSNAP settings. Is there a way to change what my OSNAP switched to for certain commands?

As far as the snapping to endpoint for Edit Surface, that's the way it's always been, even back in LDD, as far as I remember.  You should be snapping from endpoint to endpoint of the tin lines, so it is preset in the command.  I would imagine a snap overide would take charge but that is one thing I have never tried.  You can have transparent running osnaps changed in mid command if you have the commands set up properly, I don't know if this what you are wanting?

The command expects you to select TIN line endpoints so there is no need for any other osnap for that tool.

You can add a point to the surface to force lines where you need.
