Hi, there:
I would like to know what am I doing wrong when starting a new drawing in Civil 3D 2009, specifically in the "Edit Drawing Settings" dialogue box, "transform settings".
A brief description of the problem is as follows: (Attached, please find the drawing file)
I am starting a new drawing using Civil 3D Metric NCS LTD template.
My drawing settings are as follows:
a- Drawing Limits = (0,0); (457,306) for a 24x36 sheet of paper (914mm x 612 mm)
b- Drawing scale 1:500
c-Units & Zone : Units in meters; Zone : US Administration- PR/VI-NAD 83
d- Reference point : Local Northing = 0 ; Local Easting = 0 ; Grid Northing = 242000 ; Grid Easting = 273000.
e- I am using Custom BDR description key set for point creation.
Then, when I create my first survey point by northing/easting, the point plots far away from my drawing limits area.
My first point is sta 1, Northing=242100; Easting=273,100; elevation= . ; point description=sta
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help.
