Earthwork Quantity

Hi everybody,

How can I determinate the volume between two surfaces ( both generated by a clouds of points)?

May I generate a corridor or directly by the interferencce?

Thank U.

Depending on the version of Civil 3D you're using, the _AeccVolumesDashboard command works well for comparing a base surface and comparison surface . The command will create a Tin Volume Surface of the two.

I use both versions: 2013 & 2014.

It is the same way to do that (volumes)?

Yes the _AeccVolumesDashboard command was a new feature in 2013 version. In 2012 it was available as subscription add on.

It can be found on the Ribbon on Analyze Tab > Volumes and Materials Panel.
