Most of the time I keep DYNamic input turned off and I don't see this issue
with profile grips at all. However, I remember another post about this
issue...here it is:

Please see Rad Lazic's post at the end. Does that sound like it's the case
for you? Although in C3D 2006 I do get grips for all PVIs that are within
the view, even if part of the proposed vertical alignment is outside the
height bounds of the profile view.

The TAB key is working for me. The focus changes from the elevation to
station when I press it & I can type in a value to change the sta/elev.
Only thing is the osnap tooltip seems to obscure the input field at times.
Also, in each post, please state the version & service pack level of C3D
that you are referring to. In your case DYN gives me a clue that it's 2006,
but with some posts it's not easy to tell.
