Drawing vanishes when regen is used

I have had this issue for awhile and lived with it but it is now causing issues with other users in the office. I have looked for a solution but cannot find one.

Problem: occasionally when I copy an object (text, polylines, blocks etc) and then paste, it appears as though nothing has happened. However the object is copied, it is simply not visible.  If I then regen all entities also vanish. I can save and reopen the drawing this fixes the issue. For me this is fine, but it is happening to others multiple times in one day.

Any suggestions??

The first thing I'd try is to update the video drivers to the latest version. If you have a certified card. Look [HERE].

Please let us know which version of C3D you are using, as well as which Service Packs, if any, have been installed.

Are you zooming to the dwg extents in the operation as well? If so you should also confirm you are holding the same coordinates through the copy/paste operation.

If you paste something into a file that is well outside the working coordinates, zooming to the file extents will make everything appear to disappear.

Thanks Allen, turns out my video driver was in need of an update. I will continue to work and see if the issue happens again.

Hope that was it. That's just the first step I take when having any display problems.
