Drawing template - insert for field for stations of a long profile

Is it possible to insert a "field" instruction in the drawing template to get automaticaly the stations (begining and end) of the long profile  for the sheet considered  ?

Example 0+700 -  1+400

Thanks,

MHB

that would be nice. I bet someone with vbs or .net experience could get the matchline field.

Thanks for this.

I have partially solved the problem by setting the names  of in the viewframesgroup (toolspace > settings >> default name format) so that the layout name template gets the name of the alignment + start and end station.

But know I have a problme to solve regarding the creation of multiple viewframes with set ranges and set overlap. See my next posting.

Cheers,

MHB

That sounds elegant. How do you get it into SSM drawing name field?

Hi MHB

any chance you can email me your sample? I cannot down load from the DG; our fire wall settings disallow
