does my surface have a "when created" date and where can I find it?

Civil 3d doesn't appear to report the "date created:" for Surfaces.

Not an automated approach but on the Information Tab of Surface Properties there's an optional

"Description. "field where the date created could be entered manually.

Could also include the date in the surface name if there's a need to track when the surface was created.
