I have a question which I have not found solution.
In a project, asks to separate (in section view) the area of " stripping” in fill situations and in cutting situations.
The áreas in the section view should appear as different areas (something like stripping in Fill= 12sqm and stripping in cut= 3sqm… for each section view) Civil 3D can do this ? Or I have to do it manually ? If it is possible, how should I do it?
I'm using the "strippingpavement" subasembly but it only let me get one area and not separate as I need it.
If you create a surface from the top of stripping and a surface for datum of stripping, you can use Compute Materials to set conditions for what is cut stripping and what is fill stripping. See my blog post which should give you the workflow you need:
