displaying points in drawing as i manually create them

I was wondering if there is a setting somewhere that can be turned on to display the manual points I am creating as I create them instead of having to go back and update the point group before they display in the drawing?

Set your default style to something specific and the points will use that style as created. Be sure to turn on the elevation and description overrides in your point groups or the points' individual settings will continue to take precedence.


To set the default style:


Settings tab of Toolspace, expand Points, expand Commands, right click on CreatePoints, select Edit Command Settings. Expand Default Styles and set the styles.
