Displaying Multiple Alignments in Cross Sections

Hello All,
Is it possible to somehow display multiple alignments on your X-sections all at once? I know you can go to each individual station and add additional alignments using the ‘PGL’ tab which is fine, but very time consuming. Is there a way to set it up in the corridor so as it samples throughout the stations it will display the X-sections with all of the alignments.
Thanks in advance.

You could try to create offsets in your assembly and have them transition to
the alignment and profile of the alignments in question. For the offset
assembly you could just apply a vertical link or creat a link with some
text. I tried this in C3D 06 with some success. Not sure if it works better
in '07.

When I attempted this, it seemed to connect the 'vertical link' and distort the X-section and add arbitrary lines. And the other alignments I wanted in the X-sections were Right of Way lines so they are not just offsets of the Center Line. Is there anyway to apply a vertical link and have it ignore the X-section?

First I put a dummy link (link offset on surface starting at the assembly
cl, i make sure to delete the link codes, so it won't draw in my sections
(and make sure my code set style supports this). i will apply my ROW
alignment to this link (as a target) as well as the surface

Then I will add a vertical link (height is up to you) to the end of this
link. This line will move around as my dummy link is moved based on the
alignment and surface at those sections. You may want to change the
Top,Datum link codes to something else if you're going to create Top or
Datum surfaces.

You will now end up with a vertical line in your sections. You can do this
as many times as you wish for your assembly.

Matt and Landman,
Thanks for the replies, Matt I understand your direction conceptually, but have been unable to link the 'link offset on surface' to the ROW lines. I have tried them as alignments and polylines, but have not seen where C3D gives the option to link it up. If you have any further details it would be much appreciated. Thanks again.
